Set in the conservation area Cottages 21/23/25 were built between 1648 and 1660 by Thomas Cocke a carpenter who resided in one of the cottages with his wife Katherine Pennell. They married in 1665 and he was buried in St Marys Church in 1682. He used “trade tokens” and one was found in the rafters of No. 25 in 1984 when a carpenter was carrying out roof repairs, the token is now in The Bucks County Museum at Aylesbury. Location
